Tyler Chavez, Ph.D.

Tyler Chavez is the Chief Business Officer at Braveheart Bio, bringing over a decade of corporate development and strategy experience across both private biotech and mid-sized public companies, spanning multiple modalities and therapeutic areas. Prior to Braveheart, Tyler was the Head of Corporate Development at Ouro Medicines, culminating in its 2026 acquisition by Gilead. Previously, he served as Head of Corporate Development at HI-Bio through its 2024 acquisition by Biogen. Tyler holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Sonoma State University.
